Education centre
TCS organises different courses and workshops:
1. Product management
• Modelling via computer (CAD); attendees would get acquainted with the basics of construction, rapid prototypes and devices development (Rapid Prototyping), parallel development of products and production (Simultaneous Engineering), development of products through software AutoCAD and CATIA, practical work on computers - on new product development
• Simulation; basics of simulation, quing theory, discrete and continuous simulation, optimisation of business systems by means of simulation (production, warehouse, transport, material handling, factory and logic systems projecting), simulation software (ProModel, eM-Plant), practical work with software
• NC programming; programming device machinery, NC, CNC, DNC, NC programming machines for processing rotation products, NC programming machines for processing prismatic products, practical training of NC programming on CNC lathe machine and CNC milling machine
• Design of value stream (Value Stream Mapping); efficient means of achieving lean production, basic methods, basic labels, concept, application of the method on concrete tasks of perfecting the business (production) process
2. Project management
Introduction, project and process basics, introduction to project management, organisation structures of project management (pure organisation structure, influential organisation structure, matrix organisation structure), planning and managing time, expenses and resources, basics of developed methods (CPM, PERT, MPM), project management software (especially MS Project), procedure for software selection, team work (basics of teamwork, manager, team members, communication, motivation, problems of alteration enforcement), computer exercise from MS Project
3. Business systems organisation
Survey of traditional organisation structures (functional, divisional, matrix), influence of globalisation on the development of new organisation concepts, modern organisation concepts: re-engineering of business systems (BPR), kaizen (system of continuous enhancement), lean production, six sigma, supply chain management, mass customisation, networked (virtual) factory, benchmarking.
4. Basics of project management
The seminar contains elements of the course ‘Project Management', but shortened, and with less practical elements and examples. The goal is to get the attendees acquainted with the basic elements and phases of project management.
5. Business intelligence
The seminar encompasses important terms of BI, methods and techniques of gathering, processing and using relevant data and information by applying methods of artificial intelligence.
It consists of: a) an introductory part that familiarises us with artificial intelligence, and why and how to apply it regarding one's firm; b) development and implementation of BI&AI-models, and c) internet methods of browsing.
▪ INTENSE COURSES IN SOME BUSINESS TECHNOLOGIES
a) Creating business plans (creating plans and simulations)
b) Creating feasibility analyses (analyses of investment projects)
TCS and FESB organise expert courses in areas of introducing new programming technologies and courses in some business technologies.
▪ COURSES OF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES OF PROGRAMMING AND SCRIPTING
IT seminars include: C, C + +, JAVA, VISUAL BASICS, AUTO CAD, ASP and WEB DATA BASES, XML, PHP + MySQL.
• IT courses present the best way to complement, expand and refresh the knowledge of development engineers, IT designers and programmers, as well as system and application engineers. The courses provide with a quick and quality way for professional development of young, and also experienced engineers, with low costs and time consumption, for knowledge acquisition.
